Size Guide - Finding the Perfect Fit

To protect your child's spine, you must choose a bag that matches their current size. Do not buy a larger bag for them to "grow into," as this causes back strain. Use the table below to find the correct model based on your child's age or height.

1. Quick Reference: Size & Model Table

Find your child's age or height below to see which Totem models are safe for them to use.

2. Why "Growing into it" is dangerous

A common mistake is buying a "Large" bag for a small child (e.g., buying a Hardbody for a Grade 1 student) so it lasts longer. Please do not do this.

  • The Ergonomic Rule: For the orthopedic back support to work, the bag must sit comfortably on the child's back area.

  • The Risk: If the bag is too long, it will hang below the hips. This pulls the child's shoulders backward and forces them to lean forward to compensate, creating significant strain on their developing spine.

3. Bag Dimensions & Handle Heights

If you are measuring against a specific locker or requirement, here are the exact dimensions:

  • Swanky: 36cm high

  • Amigo / Deluxe / Craze: 45cm high

  • Hardbody / Style: 48cm high

  • T-roll (Trolley):

    • Bag Body: 50cm

    • Handle (Half Extension): 77cm from ground

    • Handle (Full Extension): 110cm from ground
